There's not much to this thing. It's a simple strap/harness around a curved bottle. The bottle is small and ergonomic. The small size and curvature of the bottle makes holding it on its own easy but the addition of the strap makes it even easier. I just put a thumb or some fingers through it and I barely notice that I'm holding a bottle. The pocket is too small to hold much except a credit card, a key, an ID, or some cash. If you want a small amount of water in a bottle that's simple and secure to hold with a tiny bit of storage then you should like this product. It's worth the $10 price tag.

I've used this hand-strapped bottle for over a month, carrying it with me on my frequent two-hour workouts in central Florida's hot, humid summer. It fits my hand very comfortably, doesn't shift around, does not weigh down my hand or arm, and provides much-needed hydration. I was afraid that it would slip out its straps - these seem only barely to hold the whole together - but that has not been the case. My only caveat, and the reason it does not receive 5 stars: holding the curved plastic bottle against one's hand for an appreciable amount of time, especially in summer heat, is not a pleasant experience. I now place a small wash cloth in the palm of the hand that will hold the bottle; not only does my hand remain comfortable through the workout, I now also have a cloth with which to wipe my face. And for those who are also working out in high heat/humidity (even in the early morning hours), I prepare my bottle each night by filling it with water, then putting it in the freezer; the heat here is such that within 30 minutes of beginning my workout most of the water has melted, but it stays cold/cool for a long time.

I own a fuel belt and find it bulky and heavy, so I was looking for a replacement for short-mid distance runs. I've found this works for up to 8 miles if it's not too hot out. The bottle is angled to fit in your hand better, which makes it fit in the holder funny, but it's never slipped out or anything. I actually just bought a second one because I like them so much for weekday runs.

I absolutely love this product. I use it for my runs, and used it for the half marathon. The pocket is the perfect place for gels and jelly beans.
