I don't run trails, but of all different hydration belts I tried this wins hands-down. I really like that it is adjustable and one-size-fits-all. Another feature I really appreciate is the elastic bands that support the bottles in their pockets. Many other belts have a problem of bottles falling out, but in this one they stay put. The belt has two zipped pockets and two velcro pockets and sometimes I pack them to the brim when I go on long runs. Things that fit in there at once included cell phone, car keys, 4-5 energy jells, hand wipes and a couple of sheets of paper towels. (And maybe a couple more small items that I cannot remember now). The belt is well-made, durable and all the features are placed conveniently. I've been very happy with it and highly recommend it, especially if you are going to do long runs and need to carry more supplies with you.

This was exactly what I wanted until I tried it on. The two bottles on the sides were located such that as my arms swung while walking/jogging, the rubbed against the bottles - that just wouldn't work for me. I did like the 2 pockets rather than the one large pocket, but this would have been better if the pockets were adjustable so they could have been slid a bit closer to the body's midline and away from my arm swing.

Overall the belt works pretty well. The bottles are 1 oz larger than the bottles on my previous belt and fit better. The one issue I have is that the belt constantly slides around my waist and I have to readjust it a lot. I do like how you can tighten the belt more than just by using the velcro straps as in previous models. This may be due to only using 2 of the 4 bottles right now. The pockets work well for my mp3 player and other small items.

This is a great running belt! I was concerned it would not stay on my waist but it does! I am a size 2 and it never slips down or feels like it's going to fall off. Also when all the bottles are filled with water it is not heavy. The pockets are big enough for chap stick, keys, ipod- but not big enough for an IPHONE. So if you have an iphone it's not gonna fit. Other than that negative I would highly recommend this belt!

My Nathan Speedbelt doesn't ride around or bounce at all when worn on my hips. This belt just continually crept up and twirled around. It might work well for some women and men with narrow hips, but it didn't work well for me.

After reading the reviews, I decided on this belt because it was adjustable (so I could share it with relatives with different waist sizes), and had four pockets. I'm a runner who is training for a marathon. As I started getting into higher mileage, I needed to hydrate more frequently, which meant I had to keep returning to my house every few miles to hydrate. I bought this belt so I could stay out for longer periods of time without returning home. So far I used to belt on a 10 mile run and it worked great. I was able to keep my usual pace, but had to adapt a little to having this thing on my waist. I tried wearing it low on my hips, but it rode up so I retightened it and actually preferred where it was. It did bounce from time to time, but it never was a problem. The bottles stayed out of the way of my arms and didn't leak at all. Getting the bottles in and out does take two hands, but, again, with some practice this wasn't a problem. Same with the pockets...they are basically behind you so it takes a minute to get them open, but with practice this won't be an issue. All of these "issues" are erased by having enough water with me to last through long runs without turning around. The pockets hold everything I need, including two clif bars, my cell phone and some GU packs. I look forward to using this and I already see it as an invaluable tool.Update (10/2/11): One year later and I couldn't run without this. I'm only up to 16 miles, but it's great to have three bottles of gatorade, one with water and pockets for shot bloks, cough drops and a clif bar (sometimes two). I always use them in races too so I can have MY flavor of gatorade. This was a great purchase for me.

I like this belt because you can adjust it around your waist so that it won't bounce around. I sweat a lot, so having this belt avail for long runs is a necessity. When I go running, my hands rarely swipe the side water bottles, though if u have long arm swings the water bottles will get in the way. Also wish they would of made the back pockets bigger so that I can place my cell/ a couple of GU gells on one of the pockets.

Very comfortable, has everything, 4 bottles for long runs and spacious pockets to carry other stuff like phone, keys, money etc. I t also stays in its place and the strap is also quite comfy I would say. I looked for a long time trying to find the best belt for my long runs and I do not regret it at all, great product.

Use it when I do runs over an hour. Does not jiggle around. Can carry 4 - 8oz drinks plus room for keys, solid food etc. Great value.

This is a great quality belt - I have no complaints about the item itself. However, just from a personal preference standpoint, it's pretty heavy when you actually fill all of the water bottles. So unless you need every single water bottle on this thing, I would buy something with a few less so you're not running with so much weight. Otherwise, it's comfortable and easy to run with so no complaints there! Great product if you're okay with the weight!
