Jungle Rot was one of the first American death metal bands that I ever got into. The first song I heard by them was Gasping For Air, off of a second disc from Napalm Death's latest album. Fueled By Hate actually makes me fueled with hate by the way this album sounds! Even though this is barely a 30-minute long outing, the whole album is fast from start to finish without gasping for air hehe. Ok, maybe some people that review this album may not agree with me, but to me this album is fast. This makes an excellent addition to any death metal fan out there! I cannot decide which song is my favorite, cause every song is awesome!!!!

I'm a fan of a lot of different metal bands and got into Jungle Rot by accident by way of a compilation. I dug the way they sounded and eventually wounded up getting all the albums. The newest one Fueled by Hate is meat and potatoes jungle rot material and either you'll love it or hate it, just like all thier other albums. they make no excuses or apologies and the music reflects that attitude. On this album the intro grabs you and each song has it's own little punch that keeps you going. My personal fav is low life. The only complaint might be the short times on the songs, but the funny thing is you want to hear more after each album finishes. Job well done. I would like to hear from the person who heard jungle rot on the radio.........dzb1w9@netscape.net

Ever since I heard Virus off of 'Dead & Buried', I just couldn't get enough of the vicious brutality Jungle Rot delivers. Then, a week or so ago, I heard the song 'Low Life' on the radio. I knew they had finally come out with a new album. There wasn't any way in hell I was going another day without getting this album. And I wasn't dissapointed in the slightest. If you're a fan of death metal, you should be ashamed if you don't have this album yet!

Í have been looking for a band like this for a while now. If you dig bands like Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, and Candlemass, you are gunna love this b*tch! E-string slappin bass, excellent distortion on the guitar, and simple but raw foot work on the drums! The singer has a great sound too. The tunes sound the same for the most part....using the same basic chords....but it is old school sweet!

This album is one of the best Death Metal albums out there..... hands down. If you like the heavy groove of bands like SFU and Obituary then you will like this one for sure. Everything in the Jungle Rot catalog is good but Fueled By Hate and Dead and Buried are my favorites. I like "Face Down" especially!! jungle rot does it again another great cd with the some aggression that has made them one of the best underground band in the death metal seen!!!
