common sense,
By Brian Brett (Bellingham, Washington) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fugitive!: How To Run, Hide, And Survive (Paperback)
This book provided no useful information except common sense. If you don't have any common sense and what to read a hundred pages of nothing buy this book.

This book is great! Someone made a crack that this books isnt written well and its nothing but common sense. That may be true, but i dont want to read a book about how to hide that was written by some egg headed college professor who knows how to write a book, but has no real clue about the subject. Common sense, a person in a survival & evade situation needs common sense more then anything. The points that are printed in this book are 100% valid. If it looks like common sense, its probably pretty darn important.
Some people may be looking for a "magic" manuel that is going to tell them exactly what to do for where they might want to hide. You will never find a book like that. This book is ment to be read over and over while you take a long hard look at where you live, or where you might think about hiding. If you understand that this book will be the best thing you put your hands on if you really want to know how to run and hide. Ive bought and read quite a few other books from Amazon that are looked at as being anti-government "manuels" and other books that scare liberals because they had no clue this information was out there for people like myself to buy and learn from. This book near the top of the list in the pile of books i own. I knew it was going to be a great one so i ordered Advanced Fugitive: Running, Hiding, Surviving And Thriving Forever and U.S. Air Force Survival Handbook a day or two after i ordered his first one. If your ideas and feeling on the US Government, and the collapse of America are like mine, and you are looking to buy this book, i strongly suggest you do the same and keep the three books together. Get out there and practice these skills also, takes more then the knowledge, you have to get out there and do it. Some other books ive found that go along very nicely with the ones i commented on so far: Survival Poaching Ragnar's Urban Survival: A Hard-Times Guide to Staying Alive in the City Modern Weapons Caching: A Down-To-Earth Approach To Beating The Government Gun Grab Mantrapping The Most Dangerous Game: Advanced Mantrapping Techniques Ragnar's Mantrapping books are very, very good books to own and the information in them applies to these Fugitive books. Hope all that helps someone out. Im 100% commited to being able to take care of myself no matter what happens. If your thinking the same thing, this is a good place to start. Wrapping your mind around the idea you just might have to pick up and leave, id like to be able to do it and live. This book sharpened my view on how to do it. Have fun!
