Jacinto huye de una prisión a punta de pistola junto con otros seis fugitivos. Tras cruzar el desierto Jacinto mata a uno de ellos por traidor y los restantes llegan a un pueblo abandonado. Jacinto se autonombra Juez del pueblo y da cargos a los demás: Rosendo será Tesorero, Pancho presidente municipal, Carlos quien es abogado, secretario de gobierno, Cuija Jefe de policía y Lencho, hermano de Jacinto, Embajador. Los fugitivos aterrorizan a los vecinos, asaltan cárceles y liberan presos. Así llega la cantante Chabela, como muchos otros que huyen de la justiia o que buscan un pueblo sin ley. Esta mujer será la manzana de la discordia entre los bandoleros y todos pagarán sus culpas. Jacinto shoots his way out of a prison with six other men. The fugitives cross the desert and Jacinto kills one who would have betrayed them. They reach a semi-abandoned town and Jacinto names himself Judge and gives the others various titles—Treasurer, Mayor, Secretary of State, Chief of Police. Jacinto’s own brother is to be Ambassador. The fugitives terrorize everyone; they attack jails in the region and free the prisoners. Like many others running from justice or seeking a lawless place, singer Chabela comes into town. She becomes the bone of contention among the bandits and all pay for their crimes.
