5.0 out of 5 stars As Green As Disposable Cells Can Get
True enough that the ideal environmentally friendly option for batteries are rechargeables. However, when you can't afford a new set of rechargeable batteries, your current set has died, or you don't have any rechargeables available, these smart alternatives meet the need. 1.0 out of 5 stars AVOID THIS COMPANY
Pretending your product is "green" does not make it green. Fuji damaged its public relations image here. Be warned! This is not a green product. If you are forced to use a regular battery because a rechargeable doesn't work for the situation (some electronics can't use rechargeable batteries), then you're best to buy a generic battery at a local market for value and lower...

True enough that the ideal environmentally friendly option for batteries are rechargeables. However, when you can't afford a new set of rechargeable batteries, your current set has died, or you don't have any rechargeables available, these smart alternatives meet the need. As a Green Living columnist, I find the Fuji EnviroMAX to be the most responsible alternative in a disposable battery: low environmental impact thanks to the elimination of toxic alkalis and heavy metals in the construction, incorporation of post-consumer PET casing, and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. Plus, I tested a few sets of these against Energizer and Duracell. Guess what? They maintained higher voltage 3/4 of the way into the test and lasted longer than Energizer; almost as long as Duracell. Excellent performance and degradable construction. What is "sandiego" bitching about?

Does a caterpillar change into a butterfly overnight? Does a girl become a woman overnight? So, too, should we show the same kind of patience in those who are making the change to a greener lifestyle. Options facilitate change by making the transition smoother. The EnviroMAX product line isn't the pinnacle of eco-responsibility. Rechargeables still hold that spot. But they are an option that is better than the status quo.

Greenwashing? That is nothing more than a brash accusation made by an overzealous champion of the environmental cause.

The practice of deceiving customers to think they are doing something environmentally helpful is called GREENWASHING. I recommend avoiding all companies that use this business practice.

I found the AAA batteries first and just wanted to make sure this information crossed to the more commonly used battery AA.
