I use many different colors of paint in a day, and having a container for each one saves a lot of time and paint from having to clean out the large cup. I actually own three sets so that I can store each color I use in them.

These mini-cups are great. I've had them for about 9 months and haven't use the full-size cup since I bought them. They are really convient.

The only thing I don't like about these cups is they don't swivel once they have been attached tightly to the gun. That's mainly because I had an 8oz set that would. However, that was a standard spray cup system that I had to convert in order to use with turbine guns. That was a huge pain and I am not sure if I would be able to find the right parts again.

All and all in 11 years in the mobile automotive paint business these cups are perfect. These are ideal if you need to mix only small amounts of material and do not want a lot of waste that is standard with a quart size cup. I have one cup that I use only for black and one I use for adhesion promoter. Cuts way down on my clean up time.

And don't worry about 8 oz cups spraying material any different than a quart size cup. There is simply nothing a cup can do to effect the way material is sprayed unless it is a gravity cup. All the cup does is hold material. Hopefully, if someone is using a turbine he understands these cups have to be "pressure assisted" to work properly.


One last note, these are the only turbine setup 8oz cups that I know of...and I have looked for 11 years!!!! I was going to rate only 4 stars but the benefits for outway the small thing I don't like about them.

These are good when I'm spraying small quantities. THe cap lets me keep the finish fresh and accessible when I'm working on a project over a period of time.

I purchased this mini cup set with my Fuji HVLP system. I didn't need the large cup that came with the sprayer for about a year, so I used these exclusively. I had so many problems with the system that I was about to give up, sell the HVLP system and go back to brushing. I finally switched to the large cup to spray some doors and I instantly got great results! Now I love my HVLP system. My advice is to avoid these cups and save yourself some money and aggravation.
