This camera is pretty much the same as a poloroid camera but 1/4th the price per picture. I got the camera plus package deal of 5 twin packs.
It was a great deal. This camera is alot of fun to use and since the film isn't as expensive as poloroid film is, you can have fun and take a lot of pictures and not stress that you are wasting film or money. Its a great instamatic to have.

Very simple. Works well. Easy to load and use. The pictures are smaller than the usual 3X5 but sharp. The only real downside is that the flash is automatic when the light is low. You can force a flash for fill in in bright light but you can't turn it off in low light. If you want those dramatic dark sunsets or candle lit mood shots this is not the camera for you. It is a very large (but not heavy) camera compared to modern digital ones.

This camera and little pictures are so fun to play with. If you loved Polaroid film you'll really like this set up. The pictures are smaller but I love to take them and then drop them in an envelope to friends and family.I would say it's a bit better outdoors but it's really fine inside as long as you're not too far way. I'm going to get one for my sister for the holidays.

it is tons of fun to have a new "polaroid" camera.
the pictures are good - a little hard to frame
and it looks like a cartoon drawing of a camera in 3D
so just looking at it puts a smile on everyones face.

I love this camera. I've made a lot of fun impromptu photo albums, thank you cards, and art projects with this camera. I used it at my wedding to have guests dress up and take pictures of themselves and leave it with us. At birthday parties, baby showers, and bridal showers I've taken it with me to have people take pictures of themselves, glue it to cardstock and write messages on it to end up with a whole book of it. I've used it to take vintage portraits with captions for art projects. Of course it's a lot different than the old/original Polaroid but this is what's out and affordable and reliable. People are selling old Polaroid film on eBay like it's gold. It's better just to get this and have reliable current film. Polaroid film fades over time especially if it hasn't been in the refrigerator. I want to buy the miniFujiFilm camera. It's super cute.

Let's get the bad out of the way. It's absurdly large, looks hilarious, has an extremely slow lens so it kicks in the flash on most all indoor and low light shots, and it only has two focus settings leaving the middle range a bit left out.

Beyond that it's absolutely awesome. People love to see polaroids now that they're antiques. I take photos at family gatherings and people LOOK AT THEM! Did you read that? They post them on walls and pass them around. When was the last time that happened? It's a great conversation starter and people are unlikely to steal it because it looks so dumb. It's just classy, and a joy to use, though you find people staring at the black side even though the image will appear within the white border. If you think you want it, you should buy it.

we used this camera and film for our wedding guest album. the guests loved the experience, and the pics have this great nostalgic look and feel to them.

Bought this to use at Work for a childrens Santa picture taking. Works well the pictures aren't as big as the old fashioned ones but was suitable for what we wanted to do. Quality of pictures very good

I bought this as a Christmas present for an aunt who was driving me crazy locating film for her Polaroid 600! The camera is great and is now a more-than-acceptable replacement for her trusty old Polaroid. It's easy to use and the output is superior to the relic. The only beef is that the film is a tad on the expensive side...but beggars can't be choosers. Polaroid was nuts to let this small but loyal market pass.

This camera is great for bringing to parties, as the instant physical picture is a nice change from the digital photos that nobody actually remembers to email. The camera itself is much larger than I'd expected, and a little heavy, so it wouldn't be convenient to bring out to an event, but for a party in a home, it's perfect.
