the FLOPPY DISK ADAPTER does not work using windows xp. It is designed for windows 98. On any purchase anyone makes on Amozom be carefull you do not get obsolete items. Amozon does not follow up on items purchased thru them, you ,ust deal through the dist. or Mfg..

I got this item for free via mail-in offer after purchasing a Fuji DX-10 camera about 5 years ago. Well what can I say? It works as advertised. Well that's not quite the whole story. Years ago with my old computers, it was EXTREMELY finicky, trying to get the drivers to work on Win95/98. But now with their new drivers and XP it never skips a beat. But if you are using floppy drives in 2004 to x-fer your Smart Media, you seriously need to consider upgrading your hardware. Hey that's me! OK I admit I'm getting a new camera FINALLY.
