The fastest slide film available!,

This review is from: Fujifilm Fujichrome Provia 400X Color Slide Film ISO 400, 35mm, 36 Exposures (Electronics)
Provia 400X is hands down the go to slide film for when you need a couple of extra stops to capture available light photographs. The film has some very pleasing colors with a good amount of saturation, and produces great results even when push processed at EI 1600. The only downside is the price which combined with the cost of E6 processing can be a bit prohibitive, but the results are well worth it. Also, keep in mind that slide film typically has less latitude than color negative film which requires one to be a bit more careful when setting the exposure. The roll I received from Amazon was fresh with plenty of time before the expiration date.

10 dollars a pop is a asking a bit much for this roll - if you're in NYC, DO NOT order it here. You can usually get a roll of this for no more than 8 dollars after taxes around the city.
That said, the film itself is a superb nigh use slide film - great color range, super flexible so you can use it for actions shots during the day on the same roll.

After paying full price, I never expected them to send me a roll of expired film. It was dated "Use By 06/2009", over a year ago. Nowhere on the product page did they say that they may/would ship expired film, I didn't find out until I received it.
