I purchased this camera a few months ago, and I love it. It's fun and easy to use. It is well-designed to fit your hand, and the shape and color give a modern elegance and simplicity to an "old-fashioned" concept. However, it is not a substitute for a digital camera which I also own and use. This is a speciality camera for instant prints.

Read the specs carefully on this product, so that you know what you would be getting if you choose to buy one. The pictures are about the size of a credit card. The camera uses a specific film type of Fuji film that is available on various websites (and probably in stores, although I get mine online so I don't really know about that). It is a little noisy when it shoots a picture, but in my opinion, no more so than the bulky, old-fashioned ones that are no longer available.

I lamented when these types of cameras disappeared from the market, and I am so happy that I have one again. It's swell!

This is a super fun camera and all the reviews before mine give great details about the camera. I just wanted to add something about the film. I had trouble finding film in stores but kept seeing film for the Polaroid version of this camera. Since the look exactly the same I bought a pack and it works!

I got this camera for christmas and I love it. I take this camera everywhere and have had a lot of fun with it.
The colors are great and the few setting that it has for exposure have so far worked out great for me.
I would definitely recommend getting it.

I LOVE THIS camera. I take it everywhere. It is handy, easy to use, unique. The quiality is amazing considering how the photo's are credit card size. I recommend this to photographers, kids, families, friends, everyone really! Only thing I don't like is that you can find film in 1 pack(of two 10film) It is basically 1$ per photo...so oh well what can you do? lol I love it nonetheless ;)

I love this camera! Its so much fun and the photo size is perfect for scrapbooking!

However, I did notice that what you see through the view finder does not match what you see in the picture; the view finder is a little off center. For example, when I took a test picture of three of my friends, I aimed the camera so that their heads would fill up the frame with out cropping any of their hair. When the picture was developed, a quarter of my friend's head (the one on the left) was cut off. Does anyone else have the same problem? I'm not sure if this is how the camera is built or if it is defective....

This little baby is dynamite. Very cool design. Lots of fun to use, and the pictures are quite nice. The format (size) of the pictures is very unique and become a conversation topic. Having grown up in the age of Polaroids, this is a nice comeback.
The downside is the the film is quite expensive (as instant film has always been), a little over $1 a shot.
As an aside, I posted comments in OCTOBER on this product and said that the film recommended was not the correct size and appeared to be as yet unavailable from Amazon. Where did that go? It could have saved many irritating and disappointing moments for customers, many of whom wrote in the recent weeks to complain about this exact issue!

Its quality is good; it's easy to use.

No one has mentioned this, but maybe we treasure these polaroid-like photos because we sense how rare it is to own a 'one-and-only' of anything. How much more so when it's THE sole photograph of an unrepeatable moment?

Yah sure, it can be scanned. But, unlike digitals, the original photo cannot be a fake, cannot have been photoshopped, retouched, altered. Also, lack of photography skill might not matter so much -- it's part of the event.

There's nothing virtual here; it's an original document -- one of a kind. We can be sure: this very photo in our hand could only have been spit out by this camera. So, we have proof it was actually there, present at the scene at that moment, imbibing that very atmosphere -- something we'll never see again.

This counteracts one problem with virtual digital and endless duplication: often we push reality so far from us, we couldn't get further away from reality or from loved ones if we tried! Their perceived value to us can plummet; repetitive boredom sets in.

At about 70 cents each, little did we know: some of these 'polaroids' might be like diamonds in disguise, worth their weight in gold.

this really is a great camera, the instant photo quality is pretty clear and the cost of the film is just about the same as polaroid was when they were making those. The camera is pretty big though but i think this can be expected of most instant type cameras.

Like others, I purchased the film that was "recommended" by Amazon when I bought the camera -- and the film is the wrong format. The camera and the film came from two different vendors, so I don't know how that will get resolved. It is not the film vendor's fault that the wrong thing was recommended by Amazon.

The camera works as advertised, so I'm not gong to give it poor ratings because of a listing problem that was Amazon's fault.

Omg. This camera is so AWSOME.! The size of the pictures are exactly the same size as a credit card. The picture quality is really great compared to what i thought it would be. Its really cute, fun and easy to use. &&nd it could be used in ANY occasion. I would definitely recommend this instant camera.
