Fujifilm WP-FXF50 Underwater Housing for Fuji F50fd Digital Cameras

We took our camera scuba diving in Belize & Roatan and used the underwater housing. The pictures came out great! We actually met another diver on our trip using the same set up and she was equally happy with her's. Would defintely recommend this housing and camera.

This is a great underwater housing - All controls are easy to use even if you're wearing moderate gloves. We've taken this case to 140ft (Blue Hole, Belize) without problems. Getting the case to dry completely takes some time and effort (I remove the rubber 'buffer' that sits flush with the screen for this purpose), but it has given us a lot of great photos from dives and snorkel trips.

My only complaint might be that the flash diffuser is on the small side, which can mean that backscatter from particles on using the flash can be more than on similar cases by Canon for Canon cameras.

Overall still a great price, solidly built and an excellent underwater case.

Fuji does a great job with these housings. This is my fourth one (I've bought the appropriate housing for each generation of Fuji digital camera I've owned). The fit and finish is excellent. Having access to all of the camera controls is great. The seal is well designed. Be sure to follow the instructions for lubricating the seal and cleaning the housing after use (especially after salt water dives).
