The multimode autoflash, programmed electronic shutter, and automatic exposure work together to compensate for a wide range of light and can reduce the annoying red-eye phenomenon.

The 115SR also gives you manual control of the flash to give you more precise control over your photos. The viewfinder is designed to closely approximate how the picture will actually turn out, so you can carefully compose your shot without any surprises. The optional date-time imprinting function has four different displays to let you keep track of when your photos were taken.

Handling film is convenient with the camera's easy film-loading system and automatic film rewinding. The camera automatically shuts off to save battery power when you accidentally leave it on for too long. The 115SR also has a sequential self-timer to use for group photos and self-portraits. An infrared wireless remote control is also included.
