Better than a box,

I purchased the Fujitsu Snapscan to take my office paperless (at least to files) and this equipment is so handy that if you travel a lot you will desire to take it with you. The case is soft side so that means you must take cautions when traveling but it is well made. If you travel with your snapscan this is the only choice other than the box in which it arrived.

This bag is perfect for the scansnap. Everything fits perfect - there is plenty of room for the wires, disks, and manual. Perfect to take it on the go or for storage.

Great Bag to Protect Your Scanner,
By Alan Alvarez (Miami, Florida USA) - See all my reviews

I purchased this bag about a month ago [a bit expensive] for my Scansnap S510. It fits the scanner pretty well. There is not another bag that will fit it as nice due to its rather odd shape. It doesn't have any padding or anything to actually protect the scanner from bumps and drops, etc. [which would have been nice], but then again, it gets the job of transporting the unit done without difficulty. I am satisfied, and I would recommend it.Alan Alvarez Miami, Florida

Fits my Epson Workforce Pro GT-S50 scanner to a T,

After comparing the dimensions to the Epson GT-S50 scanner I had recently purchased, I took a chance and ordered this and it works like it was made for it. The scanner fits the bag (snug but not too tight) and I store the somewhat bulky power block and cord in the mesh pocket on the inside of the top cover flap. It also compliments the Belkin F8N052-BR Sling Bag I use for my laptop so that getting from point A to B with my arms free to talk on my cell and/or hold a cup of coffee is a breeze.

I have the S1500 and this case fits the product perfectly with compartments to hold cables as well. The only issue I have is it could use more padding on the bottom and sides.

Arranged pefectly for the ScanSnap S1500. Compartments for cables and documentation makes having what you need at your fingertips where ever you are a Snap! If you need to carry the scanner, this is the way to do it. Safe, secure and organized.

So Much Better,

This carrying case is so much better than just hauling the scanner back and forth on its own or lugging the original box around. It's padded with protection and has worked great.

I really wanted to like this product. I have two of the ScanSnap S1500 scanners, and wanted this to make one of them road-ready. It's just too big and clunky. It's about a third again larger than the scanner, leaving lots of wasted space. Also it has a weird flap around the zipper whose purpose I could not divine. I had hoped it would be designed to open and plug in without having to remove the unit or unpack cables and power units. No such luck. These little problems all added up to a fail for my purposes. I ended up getting a large Swiss Army computer bag and padding a portion of the secondary compartment to accommodate my S1500. It's big and heavy, but at least everything goes in one bag without a lot of wasted space.

I love the snap scan and have placed one at every work station. This case makes the scanner portable and makes me feel safe about moving the scanner about. I bought this case and have sent my law clerk to opposing counsel's office or to other locations where documents are going to be produced. Documents are scanned quickly and better than a copy service because the scans are in color.

Having this carrying case plus multiple connection setups (power cord, adaptor, USB cable) at different locations provides excellent network document management from several work stations...this compact case accomplishes high mobility accompanying laptop flexibility.O. Lund, CFO |
