I ordered these to replace the one that came with the scanner (which I love, love, love). The carrier sheet gets worn and eventually develops shaded tracks from the rollers. I used mine for almost two years -- not too bad. Looking forward to lots of fast and easy scanning.

This didn't come with my original ScanSnap (which I LOVE). I've used mine for several years now without it, but I noticed one that came with the newer ScanSnap I bought for an office I was setting up and it seemed like a great feature.

Needless to say, I rarely use it, but it's great to have around for just those times. I can now scan envelopes that I want to keep a copy of without it wrinkling them all up, I can scan pay stubs that are 2 pages glued together without jamming, and I can scan small delicate items that don't fit as easily.

You don't NEED this, but it is a nice add-on to have.

this simple plastic sheet does a good job at holding and securing odd shaped papers and pictures for scanning. it works as described when you need it.

A must have for scanning items not letter nor legal sized! Grateful I found these, since I misplaced my single copy that came with my equipment.

I recently purchased the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 scanner (great product) from Amazon. As I put it to use, I found I needed carrier sheets for small items I needed to scan like receipts, small photos, and like items that are difficult to scan due to their size or ease of scan-ability. I had a couple of choices but went with the more expensive Fujitsu product. On the plus side, I love that both plastic sheets of the carrier are clear. I can use my scanner's duplex feature to capture an item both front and back in one trip through the scanner. That saves me time. I also love the strength of the plastic used in making the carrier. They appear to be very durable and will last for a long time. The box came with 5 carrier sheets, enough to last me for several years of home use.

On the negative side, I have a problem with the design of the leading edge of the carrier. It is a half inch border with black and white bars and an arrow, indicating that the arrow end is the one to insert into the scanner, if yours is not a flatbed scanner. If you have never used a product like this, the hint is nice, but I could do without it due to the results you get from the scan when you use this carrier. I want a near exact representation of the items I scan, not one with a half inch border of black and white bars. There is also an instructional strip on the bottom of the carrier that will appear on your image if you are scanning a fourteen inch page. You would probably end up with the same results if you used the carrier with a flatbed scanner. There is no way to avoid having these as a part of your image unless you want to go one step further and edit/crop it. That is not time saving.

It is for this negative attribute that I had to give the Fujitsu ScanSnap Carrier Sheets a 3 star rating. To me it is a design flaw that could have been avoided thus giving the buyer exactly what they needed. I will eventually invest in a carrier sheet by another manufacturer so I can get away from these borders. They just aren't professional.

I couldn't find my original sheet so I bought this pack. I use them for scanning double-sided ledger (double letter-sized) pages. Except when I do not make a perfectly clean fold the scanner sheets work perfectly. I am very impressed.

The package includes five carrier sheet pouches, two large, sturdy, white pieces of cardboard, and a single sheet of instructions which mostly remind you to read the manual before using the pouches. I found it helpful to print the relevant pages from the manual (at the Fujitsu website) and include them in the bag with the carrier sheets.

One caution: follow the directions precisely. Specifically, the fold must be on the side with the black vertical bar on the bottom of the carrier sheet pouch, and that corner (with the black vertical bar) must enter the scanner on the side with the control buttons and power indicator light.

I have a ScanSnap 1300 and had problems scanning receipts and small sheets of paper. I bought these and they do the trick. I have scanned many receipts now and am a happy customer. I don't know why they didn't include these sheets with the scanner, but all in all, I am glad that I have them and they make scanning odd sized and small sheets of paper a "snap"....

I've been using my first ScanSnap S1500 scanner since April 2010, the second since October of 2010 and just bought a 3rd. The carrier sheets that come with the scanners are very helpful, but if they get used a lot (as in my case) they eventually get marks on them that affect the quality of scans. Therefore I recommend buying extras. Since I move my scanners from office to home sometimes, I keep extra carrier sheets at home. They work well and are well worth the extra expense.

Recently purchased a scansnap s1500. Fabulous scanner. It came with with one clear carrier sheet. These sheets are very handy for scanning small items like register receipts and credit card receipts. You can put a half dozen such items in the sandwich sheet to make perfect scans. I was so impressed I bought a 5 pack. Was worried that the would get squashed in shipping. But they came in a large protective box and all is well. Just call me "The Mad Scanner."
