I have had the Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 Tablet for nearly a month now, and the longer I use it the more I am liking it. It is one of the most versatile tablets I've ever used. After trying other tablets, like the IPAD, IPAD 2, ASUS Transformer with Android and docking keyboard, I began seeking a Windows 7 tablet. I found the IPAD to be primarily good for consuming media, but not real functional when it came to getting work done. Android isn't quite ready for primetime in my book, attempting to do so many things without excelling at any one of them, including functionality with business and office software (like Word, Excel, or Adobe Standard Pro). After looking at the Nokia Tablet and the ASUS 12.1" tablet, I settled on this one (over the ASUS due to smaller, more convenient screen size, Win 7 PRO in Fujitsu, and basically same hardware functionality except that the Fujitsu has even more security features). But one of the best features I like about the Fujitsu is that it is VESA mountable (75 x 75) with the optional VESA mounting plate, available at a number of e-stores on the web. This permits easy mounting in the office and even in the car when on the job. Contrary to the previous reviewer, everything is working in my Fujitsu Q550, including Bluetooth; I also find it to be peppy for an Intel Atom Processor. Videos on YouTube run well, unless they are HD in which case it is simply a matter of scaling down the progressive scan scale from 720p to 320p or 240p, and the videos I have found run fine. Overall I am quite pleased with my Q550 Tablet, which is the 62GB edition. After all my software was loaded, there are still 34GB of storage remaining. Some of the software loaded includes Adobe Standard Pro, Microsoft Office 2010 with all updates, WinZip, McAfee anti-virus, and a couple of other anti-malware titles along with the Groupwise email client. Two thumbs up!!

I read A LOT of reviews on the tablet, the processor (ATOM Z670) and the graphics card Intel 600, and I have to tell you I was very worried about buying this device. The youtube videos made it look like it was going to be slow and choppy. I am very glad I bought this device! Here is why:

Battery Life: The battery lasts a very long time! I had it running videos for hours and it still had a lot of juice left. I think you are easily going to pull 4-8 hours out of this machine (4 hours on constant installs or videos; 8 hours of surfing the web at 50% brightness - which is still extremely bright)

Performance: Yes, the specs tell a grim story, and on top of that the Windows Experiences are as follows:
Processor: 2.0
Memory: 4.1
Graphics: 2.9 <-- Update July 7 2012. New Driver makes this now 4.1
Gaming Graphics: 3.0
Primary Hard Disk: 5.9

The point I think a lot of people are missing, is this is a fanless system (I think it is?!) and the processor had to be a bit slower. When the processor is in charge of running your videos via .AVI files or FLASH, there is chopiness, BUT what no youtube videos show is that when you bring it to full screen, it runs smoothly! That means for instance that using VLC I get perfect video. When using Xfinity.com or HBOGO at fullscreen, I get smooth video. The best part is the HDMI which replicates this on my TV. I have a bluetooth mini keyboard/touchpad, and I have a full AV system up and running.

I had no issues with the writing, and it seemed responsive and smooth.

I bought the folio, and it works very well and holds the pen..... the downside is that it doesn't fit in the cradle with the folio, so you have to pull it out, which seems easy enough.

My hospital just purchased twenty of these for 5 outpatient offices to accompany our new electronic health record software. Basically the IT people wanted to get something that would run not only the EHR, but also other proprietary software for older health systems already in place on the hospital network. The new EHR is compliant with Android, and has work-arounds that allow it to run on iPad. The older software could only be run through server VPN terminal interface, and they evidently weren't happy with that, although ALL the health providers also have fully functional desktop computers that run all the other software.

The management company who set up our new system gave us a DEMO of this device and some Android tablets, and and iPad. I immediately recognized the difficulties using this tablet, and strongly warned everyone against getting this, due to the abysmal difficulty interacting with the screen, and the awfully slow responsiveness of the unit. The IT people had basically already made up their minds, and they selected this anyway. Now it is less than a month later, and we have 20 (yes TWENTY) of these kicking around the various offices, and NOBODY is using them, because it is a total waste of time.

The main difficulties:
1) Touch screen doesn't always even recognize if you touch it - even if you touch it HARD.
2) Touch screen has extremely poor spacial reference - may be off by 1/4 inch, and not in a predictable direction.
3) Processor seems to have to think when you interact, for an excessive amount of time, even for Simple operations.
