the story progresses and its still funny, April 20, 2009
This review is from: Fujoshi Rumi, Vol. 3 (Paperback)
I don't have to say that this is an excellent series (it is, though), so go back and read the reviews from V. 1 (
Fujoshi Rumi Volume 1 (v. 1)) if you want.
As this volume begins, there is a love quadrangle including the heroine, Rumi, her best friend Matsuri, and two boys Abe and Chiba. (The love arrows go every which way, depending on which who draws the map!)
In this volume, fans will be happy to see the story line progress. Chiba finally acknowledges his feelings for Matsuri, and drops out of the competition for Rumi. Rumi begins to discover her own feelings for Abe. Will Abe finally get the girl of his dreams? Yes, and ... most definitely no!
The hilarity and otaku in-jokes continue, plus a lot of misunderstandings, ego projection, heartache, and pathos. That's what makes it funny, right?
