Weak collection of other people's work,

27 pages 5.5" x 8.5". Half of the pages are a historical review of the M1. The M2 data is copied from the Ordnance Training Manual. Only original work is 7 pages of 1 simple drawing on each page, giving simple measurements for machining several M1 parts to an M2 configuration. Why bother, the M2 parts are readily available.
For the same money you can find a copy of TM 9-1276 Caliber .30 Carbines M1, M1A1, M2, and M3 Army/Air Force Manual, which gives far more information straight from the armorers who worked on the M1's and M2's. The lure of this book is you can do something secret and illegal. Reality is a bait and switch tactic. |
