In Full Bodied Charmer, Rick Markham is a blond playboy looking to settle down with his ideal women: a beautiful, slender blonde. He's not into full figured women, but that's all about to change. Jennifer Rose is not your typical heroine; she is, as the title implies, a full figured woman, and although she is a successful author and computer technician, she is looking for true love with her ideal: a tall dark haired man.

Jennifer and Rick's first meeting is at a charity bachelor auction, where Jennifer is involved in a bidding war with Rick's dream girl. While Rick would rather have had the slender blonde win, he resigns himself to the fact he owes Jennifer a nice date, since she paid $500 for his time.

A platonic date of dinner and dancing turns into a wild night for Rick and Jennifer. Although the attraction is mutual and immediate, both Rick and Jennifer have to get past long held ideals of their perfect partner and past betrayals in order to find true love.

I enjoyed this entertaining and fun book immensely. Full Bodied Charmer is a well-written, fast paced and sensual story, while also being sweet and romantic. The characters are fully developed and their relationship and love for each other develops at a believable pace. Very few books deal with real characters like our heroine, almost all of the heroines in today's contemporary romances are tall, beautiful and "willowy" or petite, beautiful and a "perfect size six". Full Bodied Charmer deals skillfully with our preconceived ideas of what or who will make us happy. Along with the romance of Rick and Jennifer, the story has interesting and enjoyable secondary characters, especially Jennifer's best friend Cherica Martin and Rick's friend and business partner Troy Hunter, who has married a full-figured girl of his own.

Bravo!!! Ms. Lee has done it again. I am a big fan of Ms. Lee and "Full Bodied Charmer" is a follow-up to her "Fall of Troy"; however, it is a stand alone book. Rick never saw it coming. He was purchased at a bachelor's auction by Jennifer Rose, a full-figured woman, not exactly his dream women. The story is a wonderful romance with great passionate scenes. You will definitely want to add this one to your collection.

This book was wonderful and I was sorry to see the story end. I am a bbw and it feels so good to have wonderful authors out there writing smokin' and sizzlin' hot books that represent us big mocha gals with an appetite for hot masculine vanilla sundaes! I sure with that more of these books were in print. I do not care for e-books because they are impersonal to me. I love the deliciousness of turning the page.

I really liked this story. It was nice to read a romance story about someone other then a a big boobed blonde/redhead. With a small wait and hair that goes forever.
The sex scenes where hot and real. I could hardly put it down to other things, like work, eat, errands, day to day things like that.
I was hoping that Mariyln Lee had more Fluffy females in future books.

I'm a plus size woman and was looking forward to finally having a good first time read with a plus size main character. While the book is re-able, I really had some difficulty with the style and maturity of writing. The words chosen, especially during the planned steamy pieces, were actually distracting at times. Maybe it's the style of the writer to use the word "buns", but it felt very young to me. In addition, some of the other vocabulary just isn't something myself or my friends would ever use in a regular dialogue, let alone with a man. The repeated emphasis on not liking a man solely because he is blond is also a bit bothersome, especially since the main character is plus size. I never quite understand how one can feel judged, yet doesn't have issue with judging a different group solely on a physical feature. Anyway, as I said the story is re-able and generally held my attention enough to get to the end. If you are looking for a light read with some romance and can get a good price on the book, I would offer a "why not", but otherwise, this won't go on a favorite's list of mine. I guess I'm looking for a little more depth and maturity in the writing style that I prefer.

Okay, I'll be the first to admit that Rick does come across as a jerk but with the help of his best friend Troy and his wife, Angie, who also happens to be a BBW, he comes to his senses. It's great to see the big girl get the hunk and the sex scenes are smoking hawt. This book has everything I've come to expect from Ms. Lee.

This was a great book and is one of my keepers. It shows us that love can come in many shapes and sizes and while the couple met under unusual circumstances, I enjoyed how Jennifer helped him "open his eyes" to a woman who didn't fit the mold he was expecting. First she was african-american and second, she was a thick woman. It completey threw Rick off his game...

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story with lots of love, hot steamy sex, and a few twists and turns thrown in.

Great book.

I read all of Marilyn's books and love them all, this just happens to be my favorite. It is funny,romantic,and sexy. Jennifer is a woman who knows what she wants and goes and gets it. Rick is a man who discovers that what you see is not always what you get. I just love this book, and i re-read it as time allows between new books.

This was the first time I read a book for all the BBW's out there and all I can say is wow. This was my first erotic romance and I LOVED it. Not the harlequin romance from my teen years, that's for sure. No cookie cutter fade to black here. This is for those who like their books hot, spicy and telling you like it is. I'm an adult who not afraid the graphic language and happy to have the choice to read more of these types of books.
