I am petite with a very full bust and sewing tops has been a nightmare until I purchased this DVD. Clear step by step instructions for altering MANY types of patterns to fit bust sizes larger than the standard "B" cup used by today's pattern makers. I am amazed by this video and definitely recommend it.

I held off buying this DVD for a long time because I couldn't find much concrete info about it. I routinely do FBAs (Full Bust Adjustments) on tops/jackets and worried that it would not contain info that I did not already know. Finally, I bought it and it's the BEST $20 I have EVER spent for fitting information! BUY IT if you are larger than a B cup. (Most patterns are designed for a B cup.)

I bought this DVD after hearing good things about it during a sewing course I rencently took. The DVD is excellent but although it is probably the best one out there on full bust adjustments, it will require a lot of effort to get well-fitting garments. It is a lot to take in even for experienced seamstresses. I would recommend viewing the DVD a couple of times before attempting the changes. However, once you master the techniques, your fit should be close to perfect.

An excellent resource for fitting clothes. The explanations and tips are fantastic! Worth viewing and having in ones sewing library.

The title of the DVD sugests how to learn to adjust your pattern when you are full busted.
But to me it was really dissapointing.
They only adjust patterns for larger sizes with normal breastsizes belonging to those sizes.
Messurements are taken above the bust in order to use one size smaller, followed by enlarging the bust.
Then followed by enlarging the tummy and waist area also, and giving it there also much more width en length .
For me, a size 8-10 with a D cup and a tiny waist, this DVD does not answer any questions at all.
A waist of time and money.

If you're full busted, purchase this DVD. Marta Alto is experienced, knowledgeable, and very likable. The DVD is full (excuse the pun) of ways to give the big bust more room with every type of pattern. It really is a must buy for those of you who wonder why no pattern ever fits. I think you still need to make a muslin and work out all the fitting issues after you done a full bust adjustment, but that's sewing!!

This instructional DVD takes you from the very basics of making a horizontal dart fit any figure from a C-cup on upwards to altering some of the 'hot' fashions of today. Marta's method is clear, simple, easy to understand and even a novice sewer will be able to take a commercial pattern and make it fit. Better than sliced bread! Heck, I'll go all out and say it is better than chocolate mousse.
