I have been a fan of Charlie's music for 20 years, and this album blows them all away. Kind of a greatest hits album, kind of a tribute album. Charlie calls on many of his old friends, including Steve Taylor, Brent Borgouis, Sixpence none the Richer, the 77's and many more, to rework some his best songs. Stand outs include Steve Taylor and Margaret Becker rocking out with Charlie on the 1984 track "Lie Down In The Grass", and Sixence None the Richer joining Charlie on the Amy Grant hit "Every Heartbeat" (Which Charlie wrote). The two new songs are great too. A must for all Charlie fans, or a good place to start if you like great Christian music.

Charlie Peacock and his boys blow the top with this awesome Christian album. I am a big fan of this often overlooked producer, songwriter, and recording artist. Charlie Rocks!

When I first started listening to Charlie Peacock's music, I found him strange and sometimes could not understand what he was singing about. Now you need to know that I am an almost seventy year old granny! Anyway, as time went on I would listen again and again to his CD's until I got to the point where no matter what it sounded like, it had a wonderful spiritual message and I became spellbound by his unique voice. I also noticed that he helped launch many of the great Christian vocalist of today into their careers and is still doing it. Bringing in other vocalists to sing some of his greatist hits was magnanimous and challenging for him, but it paid off. This is what makes this CD so awesome. Charlie, you have not come 'full circle' yet.... you still have some amazing songs to compose and sing. Your honest messages about your father really touched me emotionally, especially the one 'aim a little higher, you'r shooting to low'. And your song about the death of your father pulled at my heartstrings as I felt all the emotion you felt when I lost my second youngest daughter at the young age of thirty.
