Morgan Heritage has come "FULL CIRCLE'on this cd. They have proved how verstile they can be without losing their roots. The Heritage family lay it down something lovely with fabulous vocals arrangements. Gramps shows off his wonderful sexy vocals on the song "I'm coming home". 2.0 out of 5 stars Inconsistent and boring
In this latest offering, Morgan Heritage reasserts their formula of "safe" pop-reggae designed to be commercially viable in markets outside the Caribbean.

As evidenced by the R&B tracks, the electric guitar riffs, and the appearance of Bounty Killer on the final cut, it seems as though the producers are trying hard to reach the broadest audience possible. My...

The Heritage family lay it down something lovely with fabulous vocals arrangements. Gramps shows off his wonderful sexy vocals on the song "I'm coming home". My personal favorite is "Your Best Friend" and judging by their fans reactions at last nights Brooklyn concert it seems "Your Best Friend" is on its way to the number one spot! "Propaganda" and "Jah Comes First" are also great songs with meaning full messages.

Don't sleep on this one people, there is something for Reggae and R&B fans alike.

Rastafari.

A wonderful collection of top-notch music by the very best reggae band today. Ever-brilliant songwriting and tight, inspired musicianship combine to make this Morgan Heritage album not-to-be missed. From the rootsie, melodic "Jah Comes First" to the hip-hop flavored "Gangsta Groupie", there's something for everyone here, and the band sacrifices nothing in their obvious effort to widen their audience. Try this album--if you love reggae, just like it or want to give it a try, Morgan Heritage will always delight and surprise you.

First of all, this album has no bad songs. As usual, Morgan Heritage comes with a nice variety and flow that makes a GOOD solid album. I did not give 5 stars just because I think they are capable of making more hit songs than this album provides.

Best songs: 1. Jah Comes First, 3.One Day, 5.Hail Up the Lion, 7.I'm Still the Same, 10. Enough Is Enough ft. Cobra, 12.Gangsta Groupie, *****16.Tell Me How Come (The best song on the album in m.h.o.)

4.0 out of 5 stars TRUE TO THE LEGACY, July 12, 2005

This is one of my favorite reggae groups of all time right up there with Third World, Steel Pulse, and Black Uhuru! I can't wait to see them live in concert! This group of young culture artists like Richie Spice, Chrisinti, Morgan Heritage, and a few others are the future of roots reggae.

4.0 out of 5 stars Full Circle, October 23, 2008

The CD "Full Circle" proves to me that Morgan Heritage has indeed gone full circle. What a great CD! They are showing their versatility in the different styles that this CD offers, awesome lyrics, and what a beat...makes me constantly want to rock to that hypnotic rhythm regardless where I am listening to it...and I do listen to it quite a lot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Modern Roots Reggae, August 1, 2008

You just can not go wrong with a Morgan Heritage album, especially this one. This album is an excellent representation of Morgan Heritage's range, versatility, and talent. If you love roots reggae with a hint of R&B and a dash of Hip & Hop then this album is for you.

As Reggae fans know, reggae is for all ears (if you just listen). This album is no exception. For example, my brother in-law from Bolivia visited me here in the states and he doesn't speak English nor has he ever heard reggae however, when he heard this CD in my car he absolutely fell in love and begged me for a copy of this CD.

The grooves are great, the vocals are beautiful and the message is strong. I highly recommend this album!

This group is nothing but a gift from Jah. I thoroughly enjoyed this album from start to finish. I happen to love r&b as well as reggae. They have successfully combined the two in a powerful, moving and dynamic package. They are masters already and deliver the clarion call to return to roots, conscious music and love before it is too late.
This group has my complete respect and they are a joy to hear.
Enjoy!

As evidenced by the R&B tracks, the electric guitar riffs, and the appearance of Bounty Killer on the final cut, it seems as though the producers are trying hard to reach the broadest audience possible. My mistake, I thought I was listening to a reggae album.

On the bright side, highlights include the catchy, uptempo "Hail Up the Lion" and the dancehall remix of "U've Got Me".

For a band whose 1994 debut LP was glaringly mediocre, coming "full circle" is nothing to celebrate. There isn't nearly enough substance here to keep listeners interested long, even if one happens to love the album initially.
