I have a friend who is a web designer, and she uses the nickname angel. So I was delighted when I came across this CD Rom and now have the perfect gift for xmas (she knows so not spoiling!) There 100s of full colour angels in a large "paper-doll' size book. The images from Victorian Angels and they are gorgeous full colour depictions. This image are HUGE, approximately 800x1500 pixels is average size, in TIF format, perfect for web designs or for use in more personal graphics just as a web page or "siggies".

All are open CD ROM, too, so no bother with scanning them. They are Permission free use, so there is no limit but you imagination and you talent. Nothing to install, you can just open the file from your CD Rom Dive and access the images directly. Great for Paint Shop Pro use.

Great for web designers, graphics mavens, and the perfect gift for anyone who loves angels

I am a craft designer and I love Dover books! In twenty years I will still be able to use these vintage angels. There are full body ones, face and wings only, youthful faces and adult female faces. Some are singing and playing instruments, other are holding flowers, Xmas trees, food, a lamb... you name it. I can use the CD provided, or I can scan the pages at a higher resolution so that I can enlarge the images without losing quality. This book is definitely worth the full retail price of $19.95, even though I bought it here used on Amazon.com for half that cost!

I own 10 of these Dover CD ROMs, and this one will not read. It looks great, no scratches or dents, and yet, my computer keeps spitting it back out.

Love them. Vast majority are excellent quality (and beautiful selections!), and will work well for my decoupage projects. Glad I found it--great price, too!

I was given this as a gift, as I have always liked angels and collected them. I have been so happy with the pictures in this book. They are full color and have the sweetest faces. It is the perfect item for anyone who likes and collects angels.
