If only someone had offered this book uncut, rather than 40 plates....,

This review is from: Full-Color Art Nouveau Borders: 48 Plates (Dover Pictorial Archive Series) (Paperback)
This book has 40 selected (I would not have necessarily selected the ones the publisher chose) plates from Mucha's alleged magnum opus, Ilsee, Princesse de Tripoli. If this had been offered in its entirety, or even better, with translated or at least untranslated text, it would be worth every penny, and a great deal more. If you buy an old used copy for the pittance I got mine, you won't be too disappointed, but this book is really a tease even for a die hard Mucha fan.
