My blurb in full..., August 9, 2005
This review is from: Full Count (Hardcover)
As with his terrific first novel, SMOKE AND GRAVITY, Win Neagle's FULL COUNT tears into the obsessions and imperfections of us humans with a loving vengeance, but he does so with great affection for his emotionally afflicted and completely endearing characters. Mr. Neagle's spare, cinematic style and outrageious story-twists are reminiscent of the best of Kurt Vonnegut yet his narrative voice is uniquely his own. FULL COUNT will leave you with the impression that a breath of fresh literary air just blew though your reading room.
The above appears as a blurb on the back flap of FULL COUNT (I'm an author myself). Just so you know: I've never met Mr. Neagle; I just like the hell out of his books.

Sexy and fun!, August 31, 2005
This review is from: Full Count (Hardcover)
I loved this book and have already recommended it to several friends. The characters explore the meanings of love, lust, and lasting relationships as they get to know each other and themselves. While the book effectively tackles serious issues, it is also deliciously funny. I laughed out loud several times. One of my favorite parts is when Amanda gets jealous of Cameron's boat and shoots it! If you are looking for a sexy, funny page-turner, you've found it!
