As a fan of botht the novels and the anime series, I wasn't sure what to expect when i purchased this book. But once I recieved it in the mail, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of information and creativity it contained! Not only does it give breif character information for each section, but they include small character Q&A's that are done from the perspective of the characters. It also has a section devoted to the technology within the series, brief interviews with the original japanese voice actors, and a Q&A session with Gatoh himself!
Towards the end of the book was also sections dedicated to displaying miscellaneous toys and merchandise for FMP, a 6 file report from Sousuke Sagara himself discribing his new life at Jindai Highs School, and an issue of Arm Slave monthly with advertizements hoping to grab the attention of freelance mercenaries with experience in arm slave operations! I was expecting just another anime book with a few pics and descriptions, and i ended getting so much more! I'd recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the series, whether it be the novels, or the anime.

I just got the book today, so I haven't looked at it in great detail... but the overall impression is great. Too bad that only about the first 1/3 of this book is in color...

I purchased this book for my boyfriend for christmas and I've kind of stolen it back (we live together so it's not a big deal lol). This is my favorite anime of all times. I love the story, I love the characters, and I especially love Sousuke and Kaname together. Even my boyfriend who "doesn't like anime" loves this series and wants to cosplay from it! *omgshock* I reccomend EVERYTHING that has to do with this series!
