5.0 out of 5 stars KICK ASS SINGER!!
A lot of the reviews are slamming this band because they tend to rap on few of these songs. One review even mentioned Limp Bizkit, but how in the hell can you compare this guy's singing with Fred Durst. This guy can sing his ass of when he wants to. The songs absolutley rock. One request for the next CD though... Less rap and more singing!! Although the rapping on the CD...

i heard of full scale thru rene mata,a&r of columbia records, who proceeded to get full scale signed.hailing from australia, full scale deliver a sort of politic rock, sort of a modern rock version of RATM.the guitars are good and crunchy and the drums pound away, but the singer needs some fine tuning..ok more than that.it almost seems like he's crooning and moaning rather...

5.0 out of 5 stars Best live band....., April 15, 2005
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
I heard and saw this band live at The Whiskey in Hollywood for the first time and they blew my mind! I have been a fan since that day. I have waited a long tme for this CD to be released and it was well worth the wait.... it has been in my CD player since it's release day. The good thing about the album is that i finally know the lyrics and it makes me like them that much more. They ARE singing about Australian politics but the fact that it seems like they are singing about the US shows us how similar we are to other countries when it comes to politics. They kick major a&& and the stand out tracks to me are "The Heimlech Manoevre" "Empty Texas" "Download the Destruction" "Feel It" "Sickness" "Rapture".

5.0 out of 5 stars Not RATM!, March 18, 2005
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
Ok. Firstly, this album shouldn't be reviewed at all. Full Scale are a live band first and foremost, so don't judge them before you see them.

They are not a band about hit songs, in fact pull out one song and it would be rather average, but put them all together and you have something different.

I have seen Full Scale 7 times, and they never cease to amaze me, they by far surpass any live show I have ever seen. And don't flatter yourselves people, they are singing about our Australian government.

4.0 out of 5 stars Aussie band delivers a wake-up call to the World!, March 17, 2005
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
The single greatest live band I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, and I've see a LOT of bands. The singer is in your face, the drumming is rapid-fire, and the bass and guitars fit in perfectly. They have a message or two as well, hear it now!

I can nearly see Zeke singing as I listen! Wish they'd come play Cairns!! Good Cd to arrive just before the election here in Oz to remind me of how important the voice of 1 person can be.
Love it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Band, June 10, 2007
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
First off don't bash a band unless you can do better yourself. I think this band is great, they remind me of a metal version of rage against the machine. Either you love them or you hate them, there's no spaces in between.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really damn good, May 25, 2007
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
These other reviewers are really annoying me. This band has something special that no-one else has picked up on. Picking away at particular songs is not useful, because great bands transcend their CD and their music; they are interesting characters and/or represent an intriguing ideology.

Full Scale have both, and to watch them live is electrifying. Lead singer Zeke the Ox commands the presence of his audience in a way that most bands wish for. Unfortunately no one will know this anymore. They're no more, and this CD is a sad memento of something that could have been.

Full Scale are politically charged. They are a call-to-arms for today's youth surrounded by a politically weary society. Musically, they combine metal with a very strong groove element. Influences come through loud and clear in certain songs; particularly RATM and Tool. To me, who has seen them live, this CD is a strong collection of sublime songs, and reminds me of the one time i was transfixed by their performance. Hopefully these songs will have a similar connection for those who will never get to experience Full Scale on stage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best Live Band Ever!, July 28, 2006
This review is from: Full Scale (Audio CD)
No the cds not that great but they made a name for themselves by making great music every time they got on stage. Unfortunately they came to america and got chewed up and spit out by columbia records, if you were lucky enough to see them perform it is something you will never forget.

5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Live Band in forever, March 30, 2005

If your looking for hard music like Rage or Disturbed buy FULL SCALE. If you want to be in the most energy charged concert ever, see full scale. I love hard music and lately all the bands that were hard have gone soft and conformed to what they think people want. Full Scale has an amazing sound and they are sexy as hell on stage. I would go see them over and over again just because of how charged i felt leaving the concert... The Aussies kick ass... and by the way, they are singing about Australian and American government.... BUY full scale if your looking for some music to really speed up your blood...
