looks nice, currently works well
it's not as bright as I thought to light up my whole bedroom, but works well for reading the brightness of light cannot be adjusted, that's the only disadvantage I find now

Lamp arrived with an inoperable switch. It can only be turned on and off by using a switchable extension cord. Upon reviewing the steps required to return the item, such as getting a preauthorize return form and the shipping cost of returning the lamp plus a restocking fee it wasn't worth the effort. I'll just be careful to insure I do not order any additional items from this manufacturer.

Good product - sturdy, nice finish, pleasant lighting level suitable for a study desk. The only disadvantage is that the bulb is exposed and does not have a cover.
