This is a great, action-packed, futuristic book. My son, who is 10 years old and a somewhat reluctant reader, devoured it in 2 days. I wish there were more books like this for him to read.

It was not clear from the description of any of the books in the Hover Car series by Matthew Reilly that the book Hover Car Racer pulls all three of the other books (Full Throttle, Crash Course and Photo Finish) together in one book. As a result I bought Full Throttle when my son already had Hover Car Racer thinking it was another book in the series, a complete waste. My son loved the book so a good read but save your money and just buy Hover Car Racer.
