This is the ordnance manual for Underground the surreal cyberpunk / superhero fusion rpg created by Ray Winninger. Through the use of heavily footnoted cross-media presentations, the sourcebook gives descriptions and stats for weapons, along with background data about the game world that is really twisted and funny.

Snap-Tite now makes modular handgrenade kits ("don't put the thermite and white phosphorus parts next to each other").

To dump war surplus weapons, corporations repackage and resell them to the civilian "self-defense" market (3F Disposables: "Fire, Frag'em, and Forget it!").

Dressing up in costumes on Halloween is now banned nationwide after an incident in which a couple dressed as [[wikipedia:Leopold and Loeb|Leopold and Loeb]] went on a killing spree, shooting anyone with a "stupid" costume. People violating the ban can be shot on sight due to copycats.

The US Army has an electronic sniping scope that uses the nervous system of the almost extinct American Eagle to plot precision shots from high altitudes.

There are Gun Porn magazines for people who are aroused by firearms and firearm use. The book includes excerpts from such a magazine, complete with creepy male centerfold and homoerotic "letters to the editor".

A veteran's advice column derisively calls the 1991 Persian Gulf War the "[[wikipedia:Cop Rock|Cop Rock]] of 20th Century military operations".

References are made to the Scientologist government of Neo-Deutschland, which is ruled by a Chancellor assisted by the Ministers of Having, Wanting, and Being.

All in all, it's worth it for any serious roleplayer who likes alternate cyberpunk (like NightLife (The Role-Playing Game of Urban Horror) or Shadowrun) or futuristic splatterpunk (SLA Industries) role playing games.
