My mother gave me a Fuller Brush electrostatic carpet sweeper since she enjoyed hers so much. I love mine and am wanting to buy another one for my mother-in-law. Too bad Amazon doesn't carry them. They are lightweight, easy to use and pick up dust and dirt very well on various surfaces- carpets, cement floors, wooden floors, or whatever. It's easier on the back than a dustbuster and quicker to pull out than a vacuum cleaner. Although they may not replace a vacuum cleaner, they are easy to use for those in-between times.

It picks up well and is very lightweight and easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it's rather tough and messy to clean.

I bought this sweeper recently. I am extremely happy with it & feel it is the best sweeper I have ever used. Years ago I ran a Pizza Hut & we used this sweeper to clean up during the day. With all the customers' muddy feet, crumbs left on the carpet, Ect. it did a great job and lasted for a long long time.
I bought this one because I have an indoor dog & need to have something
to clean the rugs with between vacuuming. Dogs seem to always shed.
It has worked wonderfully. I can honestly highly recommend this product.

Like Fuller of old, I expected solid quality and that's what I got. This small carpet sweeper (9") does the job with brushes that don't bend over, but sweep up almost everything, especially cat hair. I'd read other reviews of other sweepers and they did not pick up cat hair, which finally convinced me to go with this sweeper, particularly when I found it priced much lower on Amazon than on the home website.

I wish I had bought this carpet sweeper a long time ago. I have cats, and this works great around the litter box and picks up hair easily as well. Makes life so much easier because there's no longer any mess in between vacuuming. I would highly recommend this to anyone with pets. Also, the tray is very easy to empty. I read reviews before I bought this, and some people complained about the handle coming apart. All you have to do is hammer it in place when you first assemble--it won't come apart.

I bought this product for quick clean-ups - to use rather than dragging out and plugging in the vaccuum cleaner. It eventually does the job, but you often have to go over a piece of dirt many times to pick it up.

I purchased this sweeper for our carpet under our table... however, I find that I use it on the carpet all over our house. I originally purchased it because I did not want to wake our baby up during his nap which is the only time that I have to clean our home. (Now I only need to vacuum on our house on a weekly basis, rather than daily). I gave it four stars because it does a lousy job on our hardwood floor.... it pushes the dust and food around and can not seem to clean on slick surfaces. For carpet use, it is does an outstanding job keeping the carpet clean on a daily basis.

I had an old one of these that finally fell apart, so I ordered another. This carpet sweeper is more effective at getting up dog hair than a shop vac!

No it not a vacuum cleaner so don't expect it to perform like one! It does what it suppose to do. It picks up well with a few passes and is easy to dump out when needed. Good sweeper would reccomend.

I purchased this from our Fuller Brush man 2 or 3 years ago (it's still in great condition). Tired of using a dust mop & dust pan, I intended to use it on my linoleum kitchen floor and throw rugs. However, it didn't seem to be picking the crumbs up very good on the linoleum so I rarely used it. I recall the Fuller Brush man telling me that there were 2 brushes available for this, one worked better on carpet, the other on smooth floors. We have a closed in porch which is carpeted with a low pile carpet. Our two cats spend a lot of time on the porch and it gets very messy with kitty litter and hair. This summer has been particularly hot; our cats are shedding in chunks. They're 18 yrs. old. This is the first year it's ever happened. I took the Electrostatic Carpet Sweeper out there to see how it handled the mess. It was a very good decision. This carpet sweeper does a fantastic job of picking up the litter & hair. As a matter of fact, my hubby was still using our vacuum on the porch, and for whatever reason decided to use the carpet sweeper. He came in to tell me what a great job it did...which I already knew. Sometimes I have to go over a spot a few times before it'll pick up the mess. Maybe the reason is all the cat hair that collects on the brush. You can't rely on the carpet sweeper to pick up everything and will still need to use a vacuum cleaner to do a more thorough job.

This carpet sweeper is metal & is easy to assemble. Actually, the only assembly involved is putting the handle together & attaching it to the sweeper. It comes with a comb which attaches to the sweeper's handle to keep it handy. The comb is used to clean the roller/brush. You just run it through the bristles & it cleans all the hair or whatever is wound around the brush. There's two metal flaps on the underside of the carpet sweeper, one on each side of the roller brush. You push on them to open them and empty the contents into the trash.

This carpet sweeper has proven to be very useful in our household.
