A must-have for fans, September 24, 2005
This review is from: Fullmetal Alchemist: 2006 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
For a wall calendar, this one is exceptionaly well made. I have purchased anime-themed calendars in the past and have been rather disappointed. With this one there is no scrimping in any regard.
Each month features a large, high-quality image dipicting several cast members. The content of the images has a wide range, varying from action shots to quiet moments. Each image features a complete scene; there are no dull shots featuring only one character from the waist up with a blank background, as I have seen in other calendars. A few of the pictures are season-related.
Aside from the primary image, there is a smaller image on the main body of the calendar. Counting the cover, there are 26 different images total. The calendar itself is also high-quality; the paper is thick and durable, and it's smooth without being too glossy, so there shouldn't be excessive glare.
As for the main body of the calendar, the numbers are easy to read and it (of course) includes the lunar cycle. It also has major, minor and obscure holidays, unlike similar calendars I have seen that only show national holidays.
In closing, it's a top-notch item that fans will want to display proudly and then tuck safely away to enjoy looking at after 2006 is over. I know I'm going to.

The Fantastic Elric Brothers!!, November 19, 2006
Edward and Al and all the others we dearly love from the Full Metal Alchemist series are shown in a year full of shots which bring us some of the most emotional scenes, which have shaped their lives, as well as some great action shots. This one is money well spent and will be giving me and my family a year of enjoyment.

Great Calendar, Beautiful Pictures, January 15, 2006
This review is from: Fullmetal Alchemist: 2006 Wall Calendar (Calendar)
This is a really well made calendar, i love it though i would prefer a Case Closed one this is a great calendar. Every month has 2 pictures, 1 on top and one smaller one on the bottom. It is well made, it feels nicer that regular paper, like a photoish kind of paper. The only problem about this calendar is the price. $13.99 is a bit much for a calendar, so do like i did and wait a little bit, i bought mine brand new and half off the cover price, so i guess calendars lose their value once the year actually begins. 7$ is still a little much but it is better than $14. All in all this is a great, good quality calendar that will last the whole year, and beyond if you are like me and like to save the pictures.
