5.0 out of 5 stars WOW...A Thrash Crossover?, October 7, 2006
This review is from: Fulton Hill (Audio CD)
ATP'S Fulton Hills makes SATD sound like a demo. As good as "Divine" was, this new recording rocks harder and offers more diverse songs, including a couple ballads performed in the most thrashiest, coursest vocal performance since BOA's Jim Dandy Mangrum...and it works! ATP's new singer gives a great screaming/growling performance reminiscent of Phil Anslemo's "Nola" histronics. This guy sounds like sandpaper, but he hits every note, then floods the songs with thundering power and emotion, causing the rest of the band to elevate their game. Just when you think ATP pulled out all the stops, they conclude Fulton w/ "Searching for Balance", a Zepplinesque progressive rocker that's so good that you'll wonder if you actually heard what you just heard. A great way to end a great record.

5.0 out of 5 stars !!! Oh Yeah !!!, September 21, 2010

Being from 'The Fan' in Richmond, I was always glad that I grew up sneaking into GWAR shows down on Grace Street... until now. It would have been much more in line with my "faith" to have seen ATP. Don't know what to say about them other than it feels like having a wallet full of Franklins. Saw them live recently and can say that these guys are the real deal. Just wish they were around back in the 80s. Disclaimer: I still go and get 'gwared' when they are in town.

Even though this band seems to have revolving members, they never seem to lose what this band produces which is great music.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great! BUY THIS!!!!, June 15, 2004
This review is from: Fulton Hill (Audio CD)
Alabama Thunder Pussy play down-tuned, dynamic rock 'n' roll oozing with conviction. FULTON HILL delivers maximum Alabama Thunder Pussy as the quintet merge hard driving riffs, Thin Lizzy-reminiscent twin-guitar harmonies and bruising vocals with plenty of grit and dirt. Welcome to the New Wave of American Rock & Roll.

If you like Skynyrd, Pantera, Molly Hatchet, Down, & Motorhead, you'll LOVE Alabama Thunderpussy! Check it out, there's not a bad song on the entire CD. Heavy riffs, great pickin', and a great drummer. The singer is heavy and raspy, kinda like Phil Anselmo or John Kay of Steppenwolf.....

5.0 out of 5 stars this album is their best to date, July 18, 2005
This review is from: Fulton Hill (Audio CD)
best songwriting, best lyrics, most complicated structures for this band. ATP kicksass live and is fun to listen to while impaired. Really captures the gritty nature of Fulton Hill area which is in Richmond VA, VA 4 life. Check out wage slave and Blasphemy.
