For what I wanted,

This review is from: Fulton MM-1 MiterMate portable miter saw stand (Tools & Home Improvement)
I wanted a small inexpensive stand as I don't have much room in my studio. I don't need to move it around and I don't do fine woodwork so keep that in mind. It is easy to set up the stand and mount the saw. (I have a DeWalt sliding saw). The support extensions are easy to use. One downside at least with the big sliding saw is that the stand bends as you move the blade. Takes some getting used to the wobble as you cut. This is not the stand for someone who really enjoys finely made tools. It is cheap, small and usable which is what I needed. I just need to cut some 2 X's. If you need it for more precise work I don't think you will be happy with it.

This was purchased here on Amazon for a great price and free shipping. This is a good solid product for the homeowner. I use a 10" miter saw and this works well. Easy put together and use. If you are a professional or use a big compound saw this may not be for you.

Although from the picture this looks pretty solid...it is not. The legs want to buckle underneath so you have to be very careful where you place this. To add you saw..well that does not fit like it should either and you have to "rig" it up to hold it solid. For quick temporary jobs I guess you could say this is ok, but then again just use a counter top and save yourself the money. It is built with cheap "metal" and will not withstand heavy use.
