This is a great book! A great gift idea. Very neatly organized and easy to read. Compact, and loads of fun with younger kids.

This review is from: Fun with Hand Shadows (Paperback)
While learning hand shadows a few years back, I contacted the author (after seeing him on David Letterman) to inquire about some thoughts I had. We spoke on the phone and he was VERY helpful in guiding me in the process of learning the shadows and putting together an act.

He then told me about his book. This book. When it arrived in the mail, I was overwhelmed with how much information he covers in it.

He talks about proper lighting (without spending much $$$), screen options, finger exercises, and then on to the good stuff.

Sati covers many animals, most of which are of his own creation. He also then shows all of the celebrity hand shadows he has performed, as well as the process he uses to develop recognizable hand shadow characters, encouraging the reader to develop more on his own.

The title of the book is "Fun with Hand Shadows", and the author accomplished exactly that: FUN.

Of all the books on hand shadows that I have in my library (approx 18), this is easily the most informative and FUN.
