Geared toward older children, many of the selections demand quite a bit of verbal and intellectual prowess. Some of the games require props such as maps or pencil and paper or a small degree of advance preparation. Other games assume car travel, but there is a good variety available for other modes of transportation. Each game is clearly described in large print with numbered steps and has a black-and-white line drawing. Additionally, parents will be pleased to see that many of the games are not competitive in nature. Buy this title and watch it travel.

Fun on the run is a terrific way to keep everyone busy on those long car trips. Included are word games,songs,license plate games and jokes. Our family enjoyed all the songs and activities. This great book can be used by car,plane or dogsled,wherever you may go. Enjoy!
