I recently ordered three books about making sex more exciting from amazon.com, and out of the three, this one was the one that I was most comfortable with. (The others were Anne Hooper's Pocket Sex Guide and E.S.O., which quite honestly, frightened me!) There were some ideas in this book that I hadn't thought about before, including some positions for intercourse and ideas leading up to the act itself. Also, there was a minisection on massage techniques, which was interesting. Some of what was encompassed in the book, however, was not my "cup of tea." By that, I mean that I didn't expect to see full-color spreads of naked men and women in the actual act of intercourse itself! I was shocked and embarrassed to be looking in on this, even though they obviously posed for it. Also, the parts in the book dedicated to sexual fantasies and games was beyond what I wanted to discover. On the other hand, just because I wasn't 'into' this scene doesn't mean that the rest of the population agrees with my viewpoint. All in all, I would say this book was worth the money, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed most of the ideas in the book. Buy it, read it, and try (some) of it. :)

I purchased this book looking for ways to enhance a satisfying long term monogamous relationship. I found this book to be rather "clinical" in text and illustrations. The photographs are too "posed" and the couples are too "pretty". Just was not quite what I was looking for. Might be more appropriate for those just beginning the journey.

I wasn't prepared for all the pictures! Felt a little creepy. But helpful ideas.
