Cd release here contains many of the studio takes dating back the year of our lord:1977. The band housed later-to-be Headcoate frontman Billy Childish. The first six tracks you hear really cook in 77'punker style. The remaining songs are very mellow in comparison. Maybe mellow but not lacking. The variety adds a nice twist.
