I bought this to go with my Santa costume for a Halloween party. It works very nicely, goes around the neck and velcros behind the back to stay in place. If you need to adjust the chest/belly height you can tie a little knot in the neck strap to make it shorter.
The thing is sewn up with the stuffing inside which feels like pieces of styrofoam.
You could probably rig something like this yourself, but in the past I'd done costumes like this by using pillows and other items. The pillows would always slide down and things would fall out, so it was worth it to me to have something I knew would stay on.
It's not the most fantastic thing ever but it does the job it's designed for.

The Santa Belly accessory is just as they describe and could possibly a little easier to put on with velcro instead of the laces which makes it like putting on a hospital gown and I've never been good at tying things behind my back. I want to rave though about the outstanding customer service this company provided though. The first package I received arrived within a couple of days, but I as surprised as I was about the fast delivery I was even more surprised to see the wrong item. I was sent a pair of white Santa gloves instead of the expected belly pad. I immediately went to the Amazon website to express my displeasure around 9PM EST. The following morning another package arrived with the correct, Santa Belly pad inside ! They apparently realized their mistake and immediately shipped me the proper item so I'd get it on time, and they told me to keep the gloves for my aggravation. I have never had this occur before and called them to tell them how pleasantly surprised I was they caught their own mistake and corrected it so promptly. I will of course never hesitate to use Planetcostume.com in the future. I only hope more companies follow their example.

My husband bought a very professional and expensive Santa suit to be the Santa at my preschool and this was the nice finishing touch! He wears it UNDER a red thermal long sleeved shirt, the suspenders over that and it is just the perfect touch to any Santa.
Fits well and is comfortable as well.

VERY POORLY MADE
VERY CHEAP LOOKING AND NOT A FAT BELLY AT ALL. NOT HAPPY WITH PRODUCT. I'M GOING TO LOOK INTO RETURNING IT IF DOESN'T COST AS MUCH AS THE PRODUCT.

If you are looking for a big Santa Belly - this is it. The only thing I think could've been better is an adjustable strap around the neck.
