5.0 out of 5 stars I wish this book was available 25 year ago! a must read for any investor, November 16, 2009
This review is from: Fundamental Analysis For Dummies (Paperback)
Another amazing effort from one of the defining business writers of our time. There is a reason why USA Today has Matt Krantz as a lead market reporter. Matt not only understands thoroughly all the nuances of fundamental analysis, but can explain it to those who do not in a prose that even new investors can easily understand. Even though I have been a professional investor for over 25 years, with a background as a floor trader and floor broker on all three of the Chicago exchanges, I learned a lot by reading this book that I never knew or considered as important. I wish this book had been available when I started in the business.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fundamental Analysis for Dummies, November 30, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Fundamental Analysis For Dummies (Paperback)
As a introductory publication on Fundamental Analysis of shares, like all of the For Dummies books is well written and easy to read. The author although from a journalistic background has obviously spent a lot of time coming to terms with the concepts and methodology of Fundamental Analysis.

For anyone starting out in the stock market whether a Fundamental analyst or Technical analyst this is a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars A valuable reference for every investor, December 17, 2009

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Fundamental Analysis For Dummies (Paperback)
This book is the perfect reference on fundamental analysis for anyone who invests in stocks. Information is out there on the internet, it's free, and it's so important to make use of it no matter how you approach investing in equities. This book helps you do it. I did a quick read of the sections of interest and a skim of the rest so I can now refer to the topics as I need them and read further when the information pertains to the stocks I'm looking into. I'm no dummy, but I appreciate that this book is organized and comprehensive. Ultimately I think it can help me become a better investor and less of a "trader."
