The author became a Freemason as a result of the study.,

Dr. Gary Leazer, after completing his research on Freemasonry for the SBC report, formed a very favorable opinion of the institution and became a Freemason himself. His action is a very substantive argument for the Fraternity.

EVERY PASTOR AND MASON SHOULD HAVE THIS BOOK. IT IS BY FAR THE MOST IN DEPTH BOOK CONCERNING FREEMASONRY, THE SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND FRATERNITY. AFTER READING THIS BOOK, ONE WILL EASILY UNDERSTAND HOW FREEMASONRY COMPLIMENTS MAN'S BELIEF IN GOD. HOW FREEMASONRY IS A FRATERNITY AND NOT A RELIGION.

Good Background on Fundamentalist Opposition to Masonry,
By
This review is from: Fundamentalism & Freemasonry: Investigation of the Fraternal Order (Hardcover)
Books and pamphlets from fundamentalist Christians denouncing freemasonry are easy to find nowadays. They are all pretty much like long sticks of bologna -- anyway you cut them, they are all the same. There are a few good defenses of freemasonry as well, but the question arises, "How did all the opposition to this fraternity get started?" Leazer in this title answers that question well. The first five chapters of this book are the most helpful for the majority of readers. The remaining chapters go into great detail on the Southern Baptist investigation of freemasonry.
For anyone doing research on the bias of fundamentalism against freemasonry, this book is a must. It is second only to "A Pilgrim's Path" by John Robinson. I recommend reading Robinson's book first, then Leazer's title. Together they will shed much light on the fundamentalist fervor against the Masonic lodge.

This review is from: Fundamentalism & Freemasonry: Investigation of the Fraternal Order (Hardcover)
A must read for every fundamentalist and Freemason alike. An excellent look and how fundamentalism can destroy the loving nature of a walk with God and target good and moral men with little to no reason except that fundamentalism seeks to destroy free thought, free speech, and the spiritual and loving relationship to God.
