I am writing a review to help clarify what is shipped with the book. Some reviewers expressed discontent that Amazon does not include the Atlas. I received my order yesterday and it included the textbook, the Atlas, and the My A&P CD. This is the complete package and is the same as the package sold at the campus bookstore.

Hi. I received my order today. However, the customer photo contains more items than I received in my package. I got the hard cover edition plus 3 bonus items which are: CD-ROM-INTERACTIVE PHYSIOLOGY 10-SYSTEM SUITE which has interactive tutorials and quizzes, ATLAS OF HUMAN BODY, AND A 'MY A&P ACCESS CODE CARD'. So will have to purchase the Lab Manual separately. Would have been cool if it had been included, maybe person who posted pics bought it seperately but just included in the pic.??

This is an excellent textbook. All of the diagrams and examples are well organized and the diction is such that you will never get lost while reading. The price of this book though was what made this a good deal. The textbook CD, online key as well as a detailed body atlas are packaged along with the textbook for a better studying experience. I did need a lab manual however but it made sense that it would not be packaged with the textbook considering the price that the textbook was sold. Overall I was very pleased with this.

I've just finished a full year anatomy course using this book. We started from scratch and finished the whole book. Honestly, I'm a pretty low-patience guy, but since it's an anatomy course, I was prepared to sit down and read the book to learn. And what a book it was -- I had no trouble following this book or getting the important information out of it. Things are logically broken down for the reader. The text also goes into very fine detail in many of its explanations, far more than you might end up needing. If you need to skip over things, though, the logical break-down of information makes this easy to do without missing stuff! I actually used this book to make sense out of parts of my neurobiology class as well because the text for that was just straight rubbish, while this one was clear and concise. If your course ends up using this book, consider yourself lucky. I'm still shocked at how much I got out of this. I'll leave it at that.

I used this book for Anatomy & Physiology I & II. The layout and pictures of book are great. Clinical applications are helpful. The Website was so helpful to me! I used it everyday.Flashcards,excercies and the MP3 Tutor sessions were great! I downloaded them to my Ipod to understand the difficult concepts of the chapters! The interactive Physiology CD that comes with it was the best. I wouldn't have done as well with out it. It clearly explains many chapters visually with quizzes. The only Con is they are long and can take hours to finish but well worth it! My average in both classes was 100! I am starting Nursing in the Fall and have a great foundation and will use this books to reference through out my nursing career!

This book was required for my A&P class so I had to get it regardless. I was surprised to fnid how well the illustrations were, and how the text was written clearly making it easy for a newcomer to A&P to understand.

The book was easy to understand the DVD that came with it, was a big help in understanding certain concepts.

Another excellent book from the author Martini, covers a lot of the same material as "Human Anatomy" but still a worthwhile read. Chapters divided into the different body systems with clinical notes and chapter review notes, very helpful in re-iterating what you have just read.

Outstanding text book. Learn about the human body. Excellent questions throughout and at the end of every chapter. Critical thinking, detailed, in depth. You can't go wrong with this information.

I'm really happy with the item. It was in brand new condition and has everything that i expected to be included. Shipping was on time. Everything looks great!
