Anyone who has to purchase this book will be quite surprised, as I was, with the way the book reads. Most mathematical books are boring to read, however, this one keeps your interest and you don't find yourself fighting to stay awake. Also the test problems within the chapters and after the chapter are easy to understand. I highly recommend this book.

The textbook does a good job of explaining the concepts and providing examples. Price is good on Amazon, about $100 cheaper than in the school bookstore, brand new. I would recommend getting the solutions manual, because the book only answers a handful of review questions in the back, and many of the concepts are easier to learn if you can see a walk-through of the steps.

I admit that the book is cheaper than other seller. Yet I made a very bad decision by buying book from this seller because my credit card was charged but I never receive the book. Bad seller

This book might be good for someone who has been completely absent from life for the past 5 years. Even if you have just passively listened to the news, you should know pretty much everything. Plus, the examples are getting outdated.

The course this textbook was required for (Managerial Finance) would have been a simple course if it wasn't for extremely tough exams! Be wary of the content because while it may seem simple, the tests can be a challenge. The textbook itself provides a lot of information in an easily understandable format, with EXCELLENT practice problems, mini-cases, and quick assessments. I cannot recommend highly enough to do all of them - at least until you are sure you grasp all pertinent material.

The room for improvement includes: a drop in price and a more relaxed look at where the corporate world resides (not just the US!). There were very few examples of how corporations are handled outside the US, a few mentions of Eurobonds (still US dollars though) and the like, but the authors could have expanded the global perspective, even if the primary focus is the US. The scope and scale were great for anyone beginning their finance, accounting, managerial, or business degree.

I was somewhat disappointed after going through this book. It feels like it was made to be used in conjunction with other material, and is lacking by itself. On a unrelated side-note, the material used to create the book seems to be quite poor as smudging seemed to be an issue.

Great condition for a used textbook at this price. School bookstore wanted close to 50 more for their used one.

The product came just in time for school. It was exactly what it was described to be. Expect nothing but the best.
