Good Textbook
I bought this textbook for my Investments class. I enjoyed this book. It was very informative and had good examples. There were plenty of examples to help explain the quantitative problems. I received an A in the class so I am definitely pleased with this book.

Easy to read, overly simplified
This book is an easy read. You could buy this book and go through it on your own in order to gain an understanding of finance/investments. But the author simplifies everything to the point where it may not be useful in real life applications. Given that and the price, I would look elsewhere.

I received the book in a timely manner... much sooner than expected, however, I was told this book was "new" & and I needed the Stock-Trak card coupon inside the book for my class. When I went to type in the code it was already USED. Unhappy about having paid this much for a "new" book when I must now purchase this code online for $30 & I paid $150 for this already "used" book.

I was very suprised and happy to see that my book arrived quickly. Loved it! HOWEVER....I ordered a "new" book. It did arrive neatly shrink wrapped but yet had penciled in areas for the questions at each chapter. Last time I checked, new texts are defined by no marks or blemishes. I would have returned it but time was of the essence. I was already a chapter behind in class. I really didn't mind the marks but I do mind that I haven't been able to use the code for the stock trak. I will definetly consider elsewhere to "invest" my hard earned money
