I have used this text twice in my college class, and I have found most of it to be excellent!

I especially like Chapter Two which helps to prepare students for

their work with fractional numbers.

My only complaint is that for a "paper-back" book it is extremely heavy!

Amazon's price allowed many of my students to save nearly $100.

I was out of school for the first two weeks because of surgery so I had to live off of the book to teach me what I was missing in class. It is so informative, using various styles for those who have different learning styles. So helpful!
