It's a shame that this book is out-of-print. I used this book back in the mid-70's when I was in high school learning about music. It's been 40 years since I've picked up an instrument and wanted this book to teach myself how to read music again. I bought the book used and spent some time erasing the penciled in answers to make the book useful. The book takes an interactive approach to learning which keeps the learning process from being boring.
