An excellent text on physical metallurgy,
By rajesh prasad (India) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fundamentals of Physical Metallurgy (Paperback)
This is an excellent text for an introduction to physical metallurgy. In its popularity it is perhaps second only to the famous text by Reed-Hill (now Reed-Hill and Abbaschian). Its coverge is limited compared to that of Reed-Hill (for example it doesn't contain chapters on creep and fracture). But the topics discussed are usually at a higher standard than Reed-Hill. There are nice problems at the end of each chapters, most of them reasonably challenging. If you are connceted with physical metallurgy you should definitely get a copy of this book.
