Good book on jyotish, August 21, 2003
This review is from: Fundamentals of Vedic Astrology (Vedic Astrologer's Handbook, Vol 1) (Paperback)
I read this book several years ago. It covers the basics and gives a good solid account of the esoterics. A good book to have if you are a vedic astrologer. It has very eloquent descriptions of houses, planets, and lunar asterisms (nakshatras). The decsriptions of amsas (house divisions) is sketchy. The explanations of yogas is great. It's worth the money if you can get it.

By A Customer
This review is from: Fundamentals of Vedic Astrology (Vedic Astrologer's Handbook, Vol 1) (Paperback)
Primordial Power of this Nobel level Economist who influenced last year's winner of from India is no less than the ultimate guide to the Soul's release from it's Karmic Prison translated form 5000 year old Sanskrit texts. In this materialistic age he is, as Madonna stated "The Ray of Light" to Mystic possibility. He has a direct line to the celestial architect who downpoured Supreme Power in to these two volumes. It is truly TRAGIC these books are out of print as they eclipse all other astrology books ever written by someone who has actual scientific perspective. Please, someone, reprint; do yourself a favor and find your soul's purpose here on Earth.

Trash Can Stuff, February 18, 2005
This review is from: Fundamentals of Vedic Astrology (Vedic Astrologer's Handbook, Vol 1) (Paperback)
The author has no capacity of writing anything
which makes sense from one sentence to the next.
Just boring wordplay. Better to read a novel.
Definitely no knowledge here. Can't squeeze
blood from a stone.
This is the kind of baloney which makes
words like Vedic. Astrology & Spirituality
suffer.
