Bueno, está por demás decir que es el libro que hay que estudiar para el examen del PMI.
Es bueno, señala el "qué hacer" pero no necesariamente el'"cómo hacerlo" para lo cual necesitarás un complemento.

Really is a very good book. Presents a set of standard terminology and guidelines for project management.

You should read it :)

Hago este review en español pues me imagino que la mayor parte de interesados en este libro son profesionales de habla hispana. Obtuve un ejemplar por Amazon hace unos meses y la verdad es que la traducción está muy bien hecha, siendo fructífero el tiempo esperado por esta versión oficial. El libro viene en formato grande lo cual lo hace totalmente legible como todas las ediciones anteriores del PMBOK. De caracter obligatorio para todos los que busquen obtener la certificación PMP.

The book is indeed a good translation and concerning the PMBOK structure and content itself, a very good upgrade since the 3rd edition.

It is very intuitive and you will not get lost trough the project processes as they are well documented.

I would recommend to buy it if English is not your 1st choice.

I had to wait almost a year for the spanish hard copy to be available, the translation is very good, a must have it for all project managers.

When I bought this book in Spanish, I thought I was going to have a hard time with it because of its translation. I usually prefer to buy books in English because in Spanish there are many slangs depending on the country where the translation was made; but its Spanish translation is very well made.

Libro básico para un administrador de proyectos o una persona que desee certificarse por el PMI. Sin embargo el libro es de fundamentos, como lo dice su título, no esperen más. Aquí no van a encontrar soluciones, no van a encontrar herramientas, no van a encontrar como implementar la norma. Para el conocer el COMO, deben comprar literatura adicional.
