Should be Alfredo's LAUGH FEST!!,
By Kindafunny "Mom of Many" (Pittsburgh PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Alfredo's Food Fight (Toy)
I bought this game for my 4 year old daughter to play with her 7 year old sister(who has Down Syndrome.) Both girls LOVE it! They quickly convinced their 16 year old brother to play. This is one of the few games where a 4 year old and a 16 year old are on the same footing. Skillfully loading your meatball onto the fork is a matter of technique that is easily mastered by the younger set. This has brought us hours of laughter and fun so far and will become, I am sure, a family classic. Harmless meatballs will fly over your head, giggles will follow. You might find yourself purposely "missing" every now and then just to watch them fly. I would recommend this game for any setting that incorporates adults and children in cooperative play. Also, my two youngest can easily set up and manage the game by themselves.

I am a Speech Pathologist who is always looking for fun and interesting games to keep my students' interest. I bought Alfredo's Food Fight on a whim because it was on sale. What a great buy! It teaches such great patience, perseverence, and fine motor skills. My students loved it so much that I bought another one for home. My 3 and 5 year olds love it also! My husband talks in a Italian accent while playing the game and my children try an accent as well (their attempts at the accent are usually better than my husband's!). Great fast pace game that can be played again and again.

We bought three of them and gave two as gifts, for all three families it was the hit of the season. Little kids adapt it for their motor skills and old people adapt it for the most laughs! you get to shoot or throw meatballs at Alfredo! Who wouldn't like that? The meatballs are soft (think Cabbage patch) balls with yarn spaghetti. The kids can throw them at each other without harm but it's more fun to stick them on Alfredo's velcro patches as he slowly spins on his base.

The only issue I have is that Alfredo is supported and spins on a very small point...I'm afraid that it will be easily broken (although so far, so good). However, the fun-factor of this game makes it a worthwhile purchase...my kids LOVE it!

Fun time with the kids can be scarce with busy lifestyles now days. This is a fun interactive game that can take just a matter of minutes. The base rotates as you catapult your speghetti and meatballs onto the velcro plates and Italian man. My kids get such a kick out of watching the food fly in hopes theirs will stick. I'm great with that just as long as they know it's a game and don't try it at our own table during dinner (ha!). Easily assembles for play and disassembles for storage.

Fun game that our 3 & 8 year olds can play along with grown-ups. Use the fork to fling fabric & yarn "meatballs" onto the (medium speed) spinning chef. Our kids loved it when the food stuck on his hat or mustache. Good for a fun 20 minute break, but our kids don't play it for hours at a time. They do play it once or twice a week, so I expect it will stay in our game cabinet for a few more years.

We bought this for our 4 year old son and he loves it! After a little practice, he really got the hang of it and enjoys playing it. His 7 year old brother enjoys playing too.
